Solved! Wifi keeps cutting out on laptop

Hello,

I have a LENOVO ideapad Y700 and every hour or so the Wifi will cut out for about 10 seconds, kicking me out of any game I am playing and not allowing me to connect to websites either.

I have tried turning my router on/off, and a full factory reset on it as well.

I'm not very WiFi savvy so I could really use some help here, as it is very frustrating.

could you try a usb wi-fi pen drive on the laptop to router for test to see if it is the laptop itself or the router that overheath .

Good idea. I will try that once I get a chance to get out of the house and I will reply back to see how it works. For now I am going to try using the ethernet.
