Will a vga to hdmi converter show a better picture

i have connected my laptop to my hd tv with a vga cable the picture is not to good? if i get a vga to hdmi converter will this give a better picture? thanks keith

Possible but not likely. That cable is pretty expensive, if you can't use it for anything else well thats your call. Can you get a video card used with the DVI output?

no. i think you are more likely get a shitter image. because most of the are build at a *** quality.
