I've never bought a laptop before, especially not for playing the Sims. I wanna play the

This laptop meets the very minimum requirements for Sims 4. Will the playing experience be good - probably not. It's a very out-dated laptop. I'd suggest that you save up more money and buy laptop with an Intel i3 CPU.

The laptop is nearly 10 years old. While it may meet the minimum requirements for the Sims 4, be aware that performance will be very low to the point where the game may not be fun to play especially if you decide to install expansions which could increase the requirements of the game.

You are better off saving up more money to buy a modern laptop. The following $350 Acer laptop should allow you to play the Sims 4 to at 1920 x 1080 resolution with medium graphics quality to get decent performance. Lowering the resolution, graphics quality or both would increase performance.
