Will my LG4400 phone work in Dominican Republic

I have an LG4400 phone with Verizon U.S. and would like to take it to
the Dominican Republic and have it reprogramed to work with
Verizon/Codetel there. Does anyone know if this is possible??

As long as the system you're going to has AMPS and CDMA it should work.
Check to see what they have down there, or ask your VZW dealer or dial *611
to find out.
