Windows 10 driver

After downloading windows 10 i have a problems with my graphic drivers. Every time i restart, i would have to reinstall my drivers in order for my stuff to function properly. I'm using a latop, model HP Pavilion dv7 7240us. My windows update is trying to download Graphics Adapter WDDM1.3 instead of the driver that i'm manually installing. I hope someone find out a fix for my problem.

Go to Control Panel>System>Advanced System Settings>Hardware>Device Installation Settings and disable automatic download of driver updates or manufacturer app updates (whichever one you have). Save changes and then download the driver from HP.

Laptops all too often use propiriatary drivers available only through the manufacturers website.

I have that driver install however everytime i restart i have to install it again

Try downloading and running Slimdrivers and see if that will give you a driver. HP isn't much help, refering you to use Windows 10 driver that doesn't work. I'll keep looking for a solution.
