My primary reason for not upgrading right now is uncertainty about compatibility with my existing “mission-critical” applications.

We have rooms full of machines with Intel I3-5-7... chips that will be rendered obsolete by Microsoft because they don't have TPM Version 2 ??? These are good fast machines loaded with memory and SSDs. We will not be trashing these for the sake of Win 11 in the foreseeable future.
