My laptop model Q501L wont turn on. The power button isnt doing anything.when i plig in, e green light turns on but wen i try switching it aint giving me results.ploz help

Hi,

Do you see any lights on the laptop itself? Try doing a hard reset, remove the battery (if not built in) and AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds. Plug just the AC adapter in then power it on. If doesn't power on but there's light on the laptop, connect and external monitor and see if you'll get any display from it because if you do that's an indication that the display has gone bad already and a repair or replacement is needed. Next thing you want to do is to try using a different AC adapter and see if it does charge or boot up.
