Wire up two speakers

Hi i have two speakers from an old sony suround sound syestem. I want to hook them up to my celcus tv. Can anyone advise how i do this pleas?

if your tv has a headphone out jack or rca red+white output you could use that connected to an amlifier connected to the speakers.

you will want to know the wattage rating (watts) and impedance rating (ohms) of the speakers to properly match up an amplifier

Your TV likely has an toslink optical audio output. If your receiver has an optical input use it. If not then you will need a DAC to convert optical to left & right analog audio.
Setup the receiver to stereo since you only have two speakers. Connect them to the left right front speaker connections.
