Wireless connection for idiots

Hello,
how do i turn on my wireless on my laptop its all ready but says cant connect until wireless is switched on on my laptop its a sharp tried the F1 nothing

Look for a physical switch on the laptop front or side edge -- there's usually an LED which illuminates when wireless is activated.

Otherwise may be an Fn key combination -- obviously see the laptop's manual (probably full version on any CD which came with laptop or on Sharp's website).
