Wireless gaming headset, anyone got ideas?

Hey, I'm looking for a replacement for my G930, since its only been giving me trouble for the last half year.

What i'm looking for is a wireless gaming headset that is over-ear, 7.1 surround, (with microphone) and has a custom equalizer (like the G930 has or the one you can find in your realtek hd audio manager) since i use it alot for music i find this really important which makes it annoying to find one.
A few programmable buttons on the headset would be nice as well.
And Rechargeable while using (by cable) is important as well but i think most high end headsets will already have this.
The Astro A50 lacks the equalizer, it only has it preset settings, same for Turtle beach 300z

One of the few options i found is the Corsair Vengeance 2100 but i read somewhere the plastic is pretty cheap made and gets loose after 6 months, and personally i dont like the looks that much.

If you know any headsets that fulfill the requirements pls post the names so i got some headsets to compare.

i dont know if it has equalizer you should check

thats the only one i at the moment found meeting the requirement but im looking for some other options to compare with (also dont like the look of the corsair one, that's just personal)
Brands like Astro, corsair, sennheiser, triton, turtle beach, ... i checked but i dont know every brand so that's why im asking here for more suggestions.
Price is of less importance, im looking for a really good headset (well 400-500 is getting a bit high)

your best bet would be to buy a set of headphones and a desktop mic
like a sennheiser rs180 for 280
or a rs220 for 380

that would take slightly limit the wireless then since i'm alot on teamspeak or skype as well. But i might have to keep that option open, i would prefer to get it all in one, sorta speak

as far as i found info on that one it has 4 preset equalizer settings for gaming. But i really want a custom equalizer i can set to my own liking's, like the on you find in Realtek HD audio Manager, Corsair 2100, G930, where you get the sliders for specific frequencies

mainly the looks of the headset and it doesnt have any programmable buttons (which is the lowest 'requirement' on my list)
but i mainly want to check if there is anything else that is an option. just making sure i dont miss something that's mayby better, but at the moment i dont find any headset thats wireless 7.1 over ear with custom equalizer besides the Corsair 2100 and my current G930

I really like Sennheiser. I used to have some cheap headset which turned out very good and high end so i will recommend Sennheiser HDR 160.

If wireless is important to you, then you are very limited. It seems like as far as wireless headsets go, the G930's and Vengeance 2100's are about it with the occasional other brand finding its way in there. I have heard decent things about the Astro A50's, but I don't think I could justify spending $250 on them, although they seem to have the most sound adjustment of the 3 besides the G930's.

When I was using a pair of G930's I found that the headset had all of these great features, but they were extremely buggy. They sounded alright with the right EQ adjustments, but nothing super impressive. Unless you are willing to spend $250 on the A50's or you aren't willing to go the wired route, then I would probably just look at a new set of G930's.

If the EQ and G-keys aren't super important to you then the Vengeance 2100's seem to be far more reliable than the G930's.
