I'm considering buying one of these :

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Keekoon-Wireless-Monitor-Network-detection/dp/B00UMX2E90/ref=sr_1_84?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1454605425&sr=1-84

The only problem i have is that the software P2Plivecam uses a 3rd party server according to the reviews. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.g_zhang.myp2pcam&hl=en_GB

Can i get a webcam working independantly sending info direct to my tablet without an unencrypted 3rd party server - the reason i ask is i want to use it as a baby monitor for my new borns when they arrive.

I use IP Camera viewer both on my Windows computer and Android Devices. I do not see that brand of camera listed under the Add Camera function, however there is a section entitled "MY IP camera is not listed", which takes you to a web page where you can ask them to add your camera. It is also possible that that brand of camera is made by someone else, and is already supported by IP Camera Viewer. There are a ton of camera brands already listed.
