Wondering If I should upgrade pc from 2011

Hi, I currently have a pc that is from 2011 just wondering if I should upgrade. Here are the specs:
i5-2300 overclocked to 3.1ghz ( pc is sitting next to cool air vent)
6gb of ram ddr3 240 pin
1tb hdd + 160gb hdd formatted to 1.16tb hdd
128gb ssd os is currently on it
0y2mrg motherboard
stock case and stock psu
2011 dell xps 8300 with 128gb ssd
graphics card failed about 2 year back, currently running without one. Pc is running on windows 10 64 bit. I am mainly using this pc for day to day use, also some stock trading. I am on a budget so If I can upgrade a few components without fully replacing the pc that would be great. I will NOT be gaming on this, but I may throw a 1050 or a 730 in it.

brand name PC's are not the best when it comes to upgrading. the1050 might be good just as long as you have a good enough power supply. other than that maybe upgrade to 8GB of ram or a 250GB-500GB SSD drive

What if I were to switch the cpu to a i5-2500k, get a hyper 212 evo, and overclock it. Then selling the old cpu, using that money to buy 4gb of ram (the 6gb of ram is 2x1 and 2x2) and then buy a 1050?
