wont turn on

I have a galaxy s2 and it will only work while it is charging but it is fully charged and as soon as i take my charger out of the phone it shuts off idk wat is wrong with it

connection to the battery is faulty. Battery is worn and cannot hold charge. Try a new battery, if it runs with a new battery there you go. If not, you are SOL because repairing it is not happening.
