Would a 2-in-1 Toshiba Radius run the Sims 3 (with EPs) and Sims 4 well?
I can buy either the $800 one with an i5 core processor and 750 GB of ram, or the $900 with an i7 core and 1 TB of ram. I'm just wondering if this laptop will run Sims, League of Legends, and pretty much just iTunes and Netflix without giving me grief.

To answer your question, not well. That laptop has Intel HD Graphics, which is integrated with the CPU. It's not terribly powerful and will struggle playing pretty much any game with descent frame rates and details.

The HD3000 will run the older sims 3 decently on MINIMUM settings, and itunes/netflix will be smooth.
However, there are much nicer laptops you can get if you don't NEED touchscreen capability.

Which is a nice 15.6" laptop that would be more than sufficient for even heavier games. It also includes an i7 processor that has 4 cores instead of 2. Take in mind there is no touchscreen capability however.

I just updated my previous post with a suggestion of a non-touchscreen laptop, http/www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834231974.

It has an i7 processor, with 4 cores instead of 2. And a GT 840m, it is certainly not blazing fast, but by no means is it slow either. All that you say you wish to do with it, the laptop will handle with ease. The 840m being the newest Maxwell architecture also means it is quite power efficient if you plan to game on the go.

If you're comfortable with refurbished units, or an open box one. There is even the choice of maintaining the touchscreen capability, and with a GPU that is a further twice as fast.

Refurbished units still come with a fresh warranty, where if any issue is prevalent you can still return the device. In the end you should choose what suits your needs, and what you're comfortable with.

League of Legends has very low requirements, The following video demonstrates the game being played on a Surface Pro 2 with a Core i5-4200u and the Intel HD 4400. With very high settings at 1920x1080 resolution the game generally runs at least 35 FPS; lower resolution means higher performance. You can check out other videos on his channel of games being played with a Surface Pro 2. The poster used a video capture device to record game play so you are seeing the actual performance.

The Sims 3 with some expansion can be played with the Intel HD 4400. I saw someone play the Sims 3 with a few of the expansions; I think one of 'em was Generations (I don't play the game); using the older Intel HD 3000 using most low settings at 1366x768 resolution. The game seemed to run fairly decent. The Intel HD 4400 is about 55% - 65% more powerful than the Intel HD 3000. Below is a video of the Sims 3 being played using the Intel HD 4000 graphics core which is roughly 30% more powerful than the Intel HD 3000. I assume it was recorded using software so performance should be around 15% better than what you see.

Here's a short video showing the Sims 4 played with an Intel HD 4400. It seems to run okay (better than the Sims 3 did on the Intel HD 3000 from what I remember). Since software is being used to record gameplay I think actual performance is likely around 15% better than what you see.

Of course getting a laptop with an nVidia GT 840m means you will get better gaming performance compared to the Intel HD 4400.
