Would a 760 amp handle a 1600 subwoofer ?

I'm really not sure if my 760w amp handle my 1600 subwoofer ? Can you guys tell me if it would work or not

If the rating are honest (a big IF) then it will handle it but not play it at the subwoofers maximum volume. If would max out about 4db less than it would with a 1600 watt amp. Not necessarily a big deal and you would not have enough power to blow the woofer with 760.
