I'm considering buying this backup power unit to power my desktop PC and monitor, maybe my ps3 as well, long enough to shut them down if there is a blackout of the AC blows the power fuse during a hot day. I also heard it helps the health of the PC in general.

The specs on the amazon link show it has a 330 watt output capacity. Since that power supply is 650 watts and you need to power your monitor and maybe PS3 you would need a larger battery backup for it to run your system.
