Hello, I recently purchased a laptop, and I now wish to connect it to a projection tv which has only s-video and av and component connectors of the red white and blue sockets. I bought a vga to red white and blue cable and connected it up and got a fuzzy screen, Do I need to try and tune the tv to a different frequency level than what it is set for on av3.

How big is your screen (big TV's with low resolutions will not give good quality)? Also what resolution does your projection TV support? Whats the brand and model name? It should be mentioned going from a laptop to a vga splitter to component will not be a digital connection and will degrade your screen quality since it is analog.
