Xperia U : virus in gallery

there is a folder in my gallery... which has sum corrupted images... which has come from some games apps. whenever I try to delete the folder ... it force close the gallery.. i hv formatted my complete internal storage but that folder is still there..... i hv scanned it with avast anti-virus app various times but it doesn't show any virus. plz HELP!!!!!

You might have to do a factory reset.
