Yamaha ats 1080

I have a Yamaha Ats 1080 connecting to Sanyo dp50842 tv using the analog hook up, however it tells me to change the TV sound setting to sound system, there no such setting in the tv menu under audio. Thanks in advance for any input

What is telling you to do that? The Yamaha? Whatever they are telling you may simply be an example, look for the correct thing in your specific TV, it may be called "external speakers" or something.
