Yamaha reciver r-300 + 3chanels or a soundbar

Hi got the poss to upgrade my yamaha yht-s300

By adding a 3rd speaker to be used as center or adding a sound bar giving the same power

What do you recommend and why ??? The speakers are 2ways +Twitter each

I don't think you can "add" anything to the Yamaha you link to. No center channel out. You might be able to add a powered soundbar but you would have problems getting it to work together properly. Start from scratch with a more flexible surround system that allows upgrading. Maybe an Onkyo would work for you.
