yamaha RX-V677 internal errorr

Hi I'm new to the forum and need some help please.
I turned on my yamaha RX-V677 amp and all I'm getting on the display is "internal error"
Can anyone please advice?

If the error message still occurs with all input and speaker wires disconnected then the message is accurate that the problem is internal to the amp.
If the message goes away then connect the wires back one at a time until the message comes back. That will probably be a shorted speaker cable or bad speaker.
