Youtube Ad Revenue Problem?

I just became a youtube partner about a week ago and the first video I made made about 52 cents (hell yeah right?) and it got about 35 views. I posted another video about 4 days ago and it got 40 views but only generated a single penny. Is there any reason for this?

When people click on your ads you generate revenue, while when you just watch the ad you make very little. Someone, or a handful of people most of clicked your ad on your first video.
