Youtube buffering with good internet speeds

Alright so recently we bought a new router with modem inside of it so it was basically 2 for 1 it costed 150$(ARRIS SURFboard SBG6700AC). We bought the router because the one that time warner cable gave us was outdated and really slow and the fact that we were renting something from them for 12$ a month and it didn't work half the time was a waste. So after we switched the routers over and got everything hooked up with the wifi I connected it to my computer and xbox and phone, my parents and sister connected their phones and other stuff. Everything worked fine I lagged less in games and it was over all faster, but then the next day I tried to watch youtube videos and it would instantly set the resolution to 360p and it would start to load the video but once I switched it to 720p60fps it would not load at all even if I left it there for like an hour it would have loaded just a little bit. I don't know why it wont load everyone else in the house can watch it on their phones and set it to 720p but when I do it on my phone or Computer it just buffers the video. I have no Idea what to do, Our internet is fairly decent We have 34 download and 6 upload.

I could really use some help I really like to watch youtube and have no Ideas how to fix it. Just post on here if you need to know anything more in depth.

If you've tested your upload and download speed I don't see how the router could be the issue, despite the fact it happened the next day.

1. How does the SAME video compare between different devices such as your PC vs the XBox?

2. Have you tried other browsers (chrome, firefox, MS Edge/IE)?

3. Try turning off the Router/Modem device to reboot it if you haven't tried so.

4. Try a wired (ethernet) connection instead of wi-fi if you have not tried that in case there's some wireless issue.

It's a weird issue, and I know I may be missing something obvious but start there.

1. If the video doesn't work on my Computer then it doesn't work on my phone only sometimes a video works on one of the devices.
2.I will try another browser right now.(I'm on chrome as we speak)
3.I unplugged my router for 30 seconds then plugged back in still didn't work
4.I would try to use ethernet but the router is down stairs and my room is far away and my mom wont let me run a cord on the stairs or drill a small hole in the ceiling so I can't try that.
5. The only thing I can think of is that before we switched routers we had 2 routers so that not all of our devices were on the same router because it lagged a lot more (It seemed to help a little) now we only have one router. Could that be it? I did some research on this problem and in 2013 it seemed like a lot of people had this same problem but it was googles fault that it was like that and some people said that it was like that for them for a few months.
