Youtube is so laggy in Google Chrome

I am watching youtube videos in google chrome on my macbook.
The video is lagging so much that it freezes every 2-3 seconds and is out of sync the whole time. This has been happening for a while now and is sometimes worse than others.
My flash is fully updated so its not that.
It is unbearable, please help!!

Try updating chrome. It has flash built in and doesnt use the one you installed.
