Solved! Z906 Speakers

After 2 years my Z906 volume controller is acting up. I tried the factory reset with no luck. Can I use these speakers and possibly the bass with a different receiver? Any suggestions? Replacement controllers are not available and the problem may be on the circuit board in the bass.

You can use the satellites with an AVR but not the subwoofer. I think that requires the controller.
