Zte internet connection

I got my zte phone connected to a hot spot but says no internet. How do i change it so it gets internet

If it says there is no internet then there is something wrong with the internet it is trying to connect to. Perhaps it is blocked on the other device? Or the device that is the hotspot has limited ability to share internet. Many carriers/service providers limit the ability to share data connections through their services.
