Solved! ZTE won't start or charge. I turned it off because it kept saying maps was unresponsive so typically when this happens the sug

ZTE won't start, charge, hard reset, nothing!

Try the following and see if it will turn on.

1. Remove the battery.
2. Press and hold the "Power" button for 20 seconds.
3. Now put the battery back in.
4. Plug it in to charge and allow it to fully charge before turning it on.

If this doesn't help, then test the charger cord to see if it is good. Either try your cord in another device, or try another devices cord on your device.

Should that not be the problem, then check the battery to see if it needs replacing.

NOTE: Yes, I know some phone batteries are not so easy to get to, on some devices. In such a case, make sure that your phone is not under warranty still before you try opening it up yourself. If it is under warranty, then contact the manufacturer first.

Thank you for trying to help me I really appreciate it. The ZTE that I have is one with an internal battery so you can't just take it out and put it back in and I'm not sure on how I would even open the phone. The battery was fully charged right before it malfunctioned. I even attempted to plug it into a desktop computer and it stated that the phone was malfunctioning and it couldn't upload any information. I'm so hurt because I had photos up there that are important to me.

Anywho, if you know how to open the phone please let me know. I know it's not under warranty. I've had it for two years now.

How old is the device? If it is less than a year, it should still be under warranty.
