Fortnite Battle Royale - Tips for Sniping and Bullet Drop

In Fortnite, the best weapon to use at long ranges is indeed the sniper rifle. It is not the only fun to relax from a distance and take a shot at the enemy unaware of your position but also very effective in killing quickly. But the problem is that it takes a lot of time and effort to master it on your own. But, with the help of tips I am going to tell you, you will have a good chance of mastering this weapon earlier. So, without further ado let’s see some tips to master the snipping.

Just make the Shots:
The first thing that you want to do is to just make the shots. Don’t think about what if you miss it, just take the shot. This will help you learn to estimate distances and when to shoot at which distance. I know that if you miss, the shooting sound will give away your position, but remember, even the biggest players like Ninja also miss. Besides, you can always change your position, but you will not be able to learn to snipe if you don’t just go out and shoot.

Keep Bullet Drop in Mind:
Thanks to Physics, bullet drop is a real thing. In sniping, when you shoot from a distance of more than 100 meters, your bullet will hit lower than the area you actually targeted. So to know exactly where to hit you need to use the marks beneath the dot of crosshair. Each mark covers a distance of 125 meters. So if your player is at 250 meters, aim at him with the second mark.

Shoot When the Target Stops:
The most common reason of people getting killed with snipers is that they remain still. And once they do that, they are literally inviting the sniper to shoot them. And you need to do the same here. You need to wait for your opponent to stop if he is moving too much. And as soon as he does that, BOOM, shoot him.

Shooting the Moving Targets:
Now we know that we can easily kill the still target, but what if we come across with a player that is not stopping? Well, in this case, there is not much you can do. The only thing that is feasible in such situation is to estimate the point where he is going to go next and fire at that point. There is a good chance that you will hit him. Besides, with such type of practice, you will learn to shoot moving enemies in no time.

Lastly, the most important tip that I can give you is to do practice as much as you can. This is not an overnight thing and will take some time to master. Just keep playing and keep on shooting people while following the aforementioned tricks.
