How to Customize and Turn on/off Subtitles in Netflix

Netflix is a top-rated streaming service where subscribers can see a wide variety of award-winning TV series, feature films, and documentaries. Netflix allows to do a lot of customizations on its website and app. You can opt to either see or hide subtitles on the playing screen. You can also change the way the subtitles look. Here’s how to customize and turn on/off subtitles in Netflix.

How to Turn on/off Subtitles in Netflix?

1. Open 'Netflix'
Go to https/www.netflix.com/ on your web browser or you can download the Netflix app from Play Store, here.

2. Log in to your account and select any video you want to watch.

3. Hover over the bottom navigation bar and now hover over the 'Subtitle' icon.

4. Click 'Off' on the right column that says Subtitles. You can select 'English [CC]'to turn on subtitles again. By default subtitles are turned on.

5. Hover away to keep watching the video.

How to Customize Subtitles in Netflix?

1. Open Netflix
Go to https/www.netflix.com/ on your web browser or you can download the Netflix app from Play Store.

2. 'Log in' to your account and Hover over your account icon.
3. Click on 'Account' from the drop down menu.

4. Scroll down and click on 'Subtitle Appearance ' under the My Profile section.

5. You can now change the font, text size or add shadow to your subtitles.

6. Click on 'Save' once you are done customizing your subtitles to suit your viewpoint.

7. Select any video you want to watch and check out the new subtitles.
