If you think your LinkedIn inbox is overpopulated with messages, you can archive the ones you know you won’t reference that often. When you archive any message in LinkedIn, the message is moved to the Archive section of the Inbox folder of your profile.
If you wish to re-read any message that you have archived earlier, you must access the Archive section by going to your Inbox on your LinkedIn profile.
Here is how you can view the archived LinkedIn messages:
Warning: Make sure you archive only the messages that you actually want to send to the Archive section. At the time of this writing, LinkedIn provides no method to move the archived messages back to the Messages section. This means, once a message is archived, it can be either sent to the Trash and deleted permanently, or restored back to the Archive section itself.
