Instagram is a popular social networking site that allows users to share fun photos of people, places, things and events. Some photos in your Instagram account may have other people in them that you wish to tag. By tagging the people in the picture, you also tell other people who the people in the photo are. This will also alert the other people that you have added a picture of them. You can easily tag another person in Instagram photos by following these steps.
Step 1:
Select a photo to share on Instagram from your camera roll, or take a picture. Open your Instagram app on your phone. When you have the picture selected in the Share screen, which is currently only available with Apple and Android apps, tap the Tag People button.
Step 2:
Tap the person you wish to tag.
Step 3:
A menu will pop up where you can enter the name or Instagram username of the person you are tagging. A dropdown menu will pop up that helps you more easily find the person by guessing the person you are tagging. If you do not find the person, then select the search for a person option.
Step 4:
To tag people in photos you have already shared on Instagram, simply open the photo on your device. Then, tap the button that has three dots. Select tag people and follow the same steps.
