How to Turn On or Off Battery Percentage in iOS 11

The battery percentage, when enabled, appears next to the battery icon in the status bar of your iDevice at the top. The numbers in the percentage tell you the exact amount of power your device is left with to keep it alive.
While having the battery percentage enabled is a good way of assessing precisely for how long your iPhone or iPad will work before it completely runs out of power and dies, disabling it keeps the status bar less populated and tidy. That said, enabling or disabling the battery percentage is a matter of your personal choice and requirement, and the process below explains how you can get the task done on your iPhone or iPad running iOS 11:
    Go to the Battery window
Tap Settings > Battery. This opens the Battery window that lets you manage your iDevice’s battery-related settings.

    Turn off battery percentage

Tap the enabled Battery Percentage toggle button again. This disables the battery percentage on your device, and the numbers can no longer be seen next to the battery icon in the status bar.
