Watching Local Stored Content in Fire TV
Go to ‘Apps’ on your Amazon Fire TV screen.
Scroll down to look at the ‘Top Free’ apps.
You can also download the app by moving up towards the ‘Search’ tab.
Clicking on ‘Search’ would result in the below screen.
Type ‘Plex’ and you would find a suggestion for it as shown in the figure below.
Clicking on ‘Plex’ would result in the below screen. Click on the ‘Right scroll arrow’ and later, scroll down to select ‘Plex’.
Select ‘Download’ to download the app.
Once downloading is over, the app would be auto installed.
Once the app is installed. Click on ‘Open’.
Opening the app would give you the below screen.
If you do not have a Plex Pac’s account, click on the ‘circle’ below as circled in the image below.
You may choose if you want to ‘Sign
Up’ or not. Click on ‘Skip Sign Up’ at the bottom and then confirm if you don’t want to sign up through the window at the middle. The system would search for a Plex server within the same network of your Fire TV. If not, get onto the same network and ensure that server is operating.
