Reach Before Others:
When it comes to baiting people with the supply drop, you need to keep one thing in mind and that is to reach the location of the supply drop before others. If you manage to do that, you will be able to pull the whole baiting tactic. So, to increase your chances of reaching the supply drop before others, you need to first know that a plane is traveling above the map, and for that, you need to have a sharp hearing. Once you have pointed out the direction in which the plane is going, take your car and start going in that direction until you see the plane dropping the supply drop. Once it drops the supply box, take your crosshair and aim it in the direction or the supply drop and then note the direction of the supply drop in the compass. Then just drive in that direction and soon you will reach the supply drop without losing it as you will know the direction.
Find a Spot:
This is the key part in making sure that you are not spotted by people when they run towards the supply drop. You should not hide in the way of supply drop so that you are not spotted by an enemy coming from behind you. You need to either get inside a building if it is nearby and go to its window to see the supply box clearly or if there are no buildings, then you should find something that can cover you like a tree or a rock. Just make sure that you are not visible, you can crouch to make yourself less visible. This is because when you will be shooting the enemies, they will try to find you and the better your hiding position, the longer it will take for them to find you.
Wait and Kill:
Now all you have to do is to wait for the enemies to come. If the supply drop is in a popular area then there is a very good chance that more than one or two players will come. But even if the box is in a less popular area, there is still a good chance that one or two players will come. So when you see someone coming, don’t fire at them. Wait for them to get to the supply box.
Once they are facing the supply box, open your fire, make sure to aim for the head to kill them quickly. Once you have killed everyone and see that no one else is coming, go ahead and take the gear from the box.
