PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds - Solo Fighting Tips

Solo combat is harder than the Duo or Squad as you will be alone and your only defense will be you. So you need to make sure that you understand how weapons work and how you need to behave in combat. Therefore, some of the important tips below will help you:
Know Your Weapon:
There is a huge range of weapons in the game and one can easily get confused about which one to choose. And the important thing to note is that each weapon has its own fire rate, range, and damage. Therefore, if you don’t know which weapon suits you best, your all effort of killing an enemy may go in vain and you may die.

So what you need to do is to use all of the weapons in different combats and then figure out which weapon suits you best. You can start with SMGs then move to Assault Rifles and then to Snipers and figure out which class suits you best. Then you can try different weapons in that class to know which one is best for you. It may sound difficult but it is pretty easy. And once you find out a weapon that fits you and your style best, you will get better at combat.

Range Matters:
This is another important factor to note. You may think that you can handle players that are wandering at a far distance with an Assault Rifle but you cannot. Well you may be able to kill one or two but it will not always work. You need to know which weapon works best at which range. For instance, you can use the SMGs at a short distance, Assault Rifle at a medium range and the sniper rifle at a long range. You can now use the weapons at their respective ranges. If you come across an enemy at a very far distance, do not make the mistake of taking it out with the assault rifle, you may land a few shots but it will alert the enemy and he will run away.

Know When to Be What:
When you are fighting with an enemy, it is important that you know when you should be aggressive and when to be defensive. If you are running out of a magazine or have low health, you immediately need to take a cover or run inside a building.

This is the time when you need to be defensive until you reload your weapon or get a bandage or two. And when you are full on both things, you should become aggressive as this will not only result in the kill but will also help you develop combat skills.

These are some of the tips that you should keep in mind when you are fighting as a solo in the game. Just make sure to implement these things to get better.
