However, there are a few things that help and that you can easily do. While it’s no guarantee that these steps you’re about to see will fix your issue, they did help in various cases so you should definitely try them out and see if fixes your problem. With that out of the way, here’s what you can do to fix this pesky error.

    ■ If you are downloading the application to your SD card, there might be a problem in that area, so try this solution first. Open the Settings menu on your mobile phone.

    ■ Find and tap on Storage

    ■ Tap on Unmount SD card. You can also remove your card physically if you wish but this should be enough.

    ■ Now try and download the app that was giving your problems and see if the issue is fixed (also, don’t forget to mount your SD card again.) If not or if you didn’t try to download the app on your SD card in the first place, try this. Again, open the Settings menu on your mobile phone.

    ■ Tap on Application manager or Apps the name will differ depending on your device.

    ■ Find the Google Play Store in the list and tap on it.

    ■ In here, tap on Force stop and after that, press on Clear cache and Clear data. See if the issue is fixed.

    ■ If the issue is still there you can also try uninstalling the updates by tapping on Uninstall updates in Google Play Store settings.

    ■ These step or the combination of them should help fix this issue. If not, you can try Google support and see if there is something they can do.
