Samsung Unleashes iPhone 6 Attack Ads

Oddly enough, I find OSX to be a lot more difficult to use than Windows. The names for stuff is also weird. Make an Alias instead of a Shortcut for example. Also, is OSX really easier to use or did your parents give up on Windows but were willing to give OSX (something new) a chance?

    Apple Watch: Top 7 Features

One small detail I noticed that irked me was the inclusion of "316L Stainless Steel" on the caseback of the watch. 316L stainless steel is an industry standard in the watch industry with the notable exception of Rolex who "claim" 904L steel is better (because it's more resistant to corrosion-...

Is it possible to make a program uninstallable?

This question is actually twofold. 1. What are good applications to install on a laptop to track it in case it's stolen? 2. Is there a way to make this program uninstallable in case the thief notices it's installed on the system?

History Book Slams Shut on Age of Empires Online

All Microsoft needs to do is hire the people who worked on AoE II and AoM, let them do whatever they want for a few years then release their game and they'll have an instant success. Unfortunately Microsoft is too stupid to see this. Does Microsoft seriously think hardcore RTS players wanting to...

LG G Watch Hands-on: Already Behind the Curve

Can someone explain to me why the Moto 360 is so special? The only significant difference I can see with the 360 is that it's circular which I find unappealing.

Help streaming .ISO movies from server to devices

I would like to build a server then use that server to stream movies (DVDs and Blu-rays) I have stored in .ISO format. I do not want to have to encode to .MP4 or .mkv because I don't want to lose any of the original quality of the movies and because the encoding process would take forever. Any...

Google Glass Updated to KitKat in Time for Today's Sale

The value just isn't there. Period. It does less than your smartphone for 3x (at least) the money. If it wasn't for R&D, I'm sure Google would be making craploads off of these.

Survive the XPocalypse: 10 Tips to Keep Running It Safely

I'm definitely not a fan of Microsoft but I have to commend them for supporting XP for this long. 13 years is a long time for a company to support any product, much less a tech product. What other companies offer you a 13 year warranty? Your response is going to be: I should get updates because...

Why Curved TVs Will Leave You Flat Broke

"The Xbox One doesn't currently support 4K, but Microsoft told Tom's Guide that the Xbox One "will support 4K games and entertainment" via a software upgrade."I find it annoying that Microsoft consistently gets away with lying. You won't be playing games at 4K on the Xbox One, you can't even...

Nexus Watch? All the Google Smartwatch Rumors So Far

Is there actually excitement in the market for smart watches? A smart watch doesn't appeal to me at all.

Netflix Talks Dumping Silverlight for HTML5

Nice to see they're doing this. Hopefully Linux will eventually gain support as well. I like Windows 7, but having Linux as a full-featured alternative for when I want it is important.

Google Forking WebKit Rendering Engine With Blink

Unfortunately, it seems that Opera is losing any real innovation and influence. Sad.
