Yes, having looked at some benchmarks online, the i7 is the way to go. Better scores in 3D mark and geekbench and it has better integrated graphics which will help rendering times. Also the faster clocked speeds will provide much better performance!

They would work perfectly fine but depending on the game will determine how effective they are because they have quite a poor sound stage. There may also be a slight delay due to them connecting by Bluetooth but it wouldn't be noticeable.
