Thanks for the reply mate. I am afraid i wont be able to battery thing since its unremovable. If the motherboard failiure is due to a power surge , my warranty wont work unfortunately. Thanks for the help though ! Also must i add that i didnt smell any burning when it had happened...

Was using my laptop Hp dq 14 1039 while charging when suddenly it powered off and now it wont even start. It also doesnt show charging led indicator anymore. Its barely been few months when i got the laptop.Would really appreciate help.
