I can only charge the battery with my sister's laptop. But she will be moving soon and I don't have funds to purchase a new computer. That's why I was trying to find out about external battery charger. Help........

I have an Acer Chromebook C710 2856 laptop.

I had someone look it over. The connector is fine, not defected nor loose. The battery and charging plug was checked and will charge in an identical laptop that belongs to my sister. In order for me to use my laptop, we will exchange batteries when it has charge up with her laptop.

My charging port does not work anymore. I found out it's in the motherboard. It will cost me more money to fix the problem than what I paid for it. Can I buy a third-party (Used) external battery and an extra battery so that I can use my laptop? If so, where can I purchase these items...
