    Hi kr I tried all 4 format options provided by windows 7 ulimate - FAT, NTFS, FAT32 and exFAT always the same result, can reformat in camcorder cannot reformat in camera.     But these two 4GB cards did work in the camera before use in the camcorder. I am seeking a way to recover there useability. I just don't like the idea of succumbing to technology.

    Samsung DSLR and Samsung digital Camcorder. I used the cards in camera all OK. Transfered to camcorder again all OK. When returned to camera got "Memory Error". Tried format same response. Returned to Camcorder works no problem. What if anything can I do to use them in camera?
