Should i plugged in Lenovo U41-70 ultrabook all time in conservation mode?

hi i just bought lenovo ultrabook and there is feature "conservation mode" which keep battery 55-60% and due to excessive downloading i need to plugged in all the time. is it effect battery life of my ultrabook if i keep plugged in on conservation mode. (i can't remove the battery)
