I'm also removing my dashcoin wallet, because it triggers to many false positives.
Just reinstalled XP on a old latitude D630. Any suggestion on (free) on-access scanner? I'm currently looking at Avira. (along with MBAM, MBAE, EMET, Spybot and all that. I wonder if I should get a 3rd party firewall.)
Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit is good to have if you don't want to configure EMET at all. If you already have EMET it's worth trying out, but the two applications do conflict sometimes. (for example, MBAE often breaks the SimExecFlow protection on the applications it protects)
So instead of not wasting my time, I should make wasting my time more efficient so I'll do more of it? Great idea Mr Piltch.
EDIT: But seriously, it takes what, 50 ms for the screen to light up.
