    Still nothing, I ran the troubleshooter and it said that it was fixed but when I tried it nothing changed :(

    I've got the Asus detachable mic that comes with the headphones and on the headset, there is also an additional mic that is causing me all the trouble.

    I have a mic in my headset which has bad quality but have a much better boom mic when I plug in the splitter for both no matter what it picks up only the worse one, however, plugged in separately (and awkwardly) the boom mic works, how can I fix this?
