Nvm, I fixed it. You see, I got Win8.1 on my laptop. Used the Win7 compatibility mode on Dota 2 and viola! I'm golden. 110fps! Thanks everyone :)

Yes I did update it via Nvidia GeFroce Explorer software last night as soon as i popped the box. Also, Dota 2 is currently running on my 920M GPU, verified by the Nvidia Control Panel.
