what i would suggest is to google top laptops/student laptop 2014 or and find something you like, I'm not sure what your going to use it for but if its not much other then reports and presentations a asus zenbook from the reviews might do the job.

you could probably pull it off with a AMD A10 or some thing of the likes but a 300 laptop wont do much. if you want Intel the iris graphics (1.5 gig) will probably do it but don't expect much. my suggestion is to spend the extra money and buy something decent, don't cheap out on laptops because...
