You do realise "proffesionals" only wear headsets to promote companies, I can bet you more than 75% of people on this forum say razer headsets suck, you have razer in your name....... You're just trying to promote.
But we all know razer headsets suck..... No audiophile will ever say razer is good because they know to stay away, my sennheiser g4me one headset has blown any other headset I've had out of this world including, astro a40s, corsair h1500, steelseries Siberia v2s and quite a few turtle beaches.
theres not really many options for headsets with detachable mics that are good, theres things like astros but honestly they are pants. i dno what to suggest to you tbh mate.
i suppose you could get something like the steelseries siberia v2 which has a retractable mic that you cant really see...
please dont go with razer, theyre terrible, the 7.1 via usb is a gimmick and everyone who knows audio knows to stay clear of fake surround, it sounds awful and tinny, if you want something good for on the go and for gaming id suggest you buy headphones and a seperate mic, if you can afford them...
they did sound better to every other headset i had which includes, tb x12s, tb px5, corsair h1500, tb px21, siberia v2. just nowhere near as good as these sennheisers which are from there gaming range, the a40s dont come anywhere close to these imo.
yeah i had mine with the mixamp and a soundcard, it wasnt my pc as i got the same issue on xbox. the sound quality on the a40s isnt even as good as people try make out, they just try make them sound good so all these optic kids get them. i got mine because i actually thought they were the best...
Just wanting to tell you guys to never buy astro a40s, especially the 2013 editions, I had my first pair that was broken out of box straight away with crackling in one ear cup and the second pair that I owned started breaking up after two months, it was infact two poorly made mixamps. The sound...
