    Question CPU Stuck at 795mhz

Are you monitoring temperatures? Do you have any windows updates available? Do you have "high performance" enabled in Windows?

Could my USB ports be ''burned''?

Assuming you've tried alternate USB devices connected to that port? It's entirely possible the port is fried. USB ports do tend to have the ability to switch themselves off to protect the device (incase a device is sending voltage back to the port), but a restart should revive them.

    Solved! 2nd Gen Dell G7

From a performance standpoint, I don't think you'll do better for the money. If this were strictly gaming, you could have a comparable experience with an older i7 and GTX1070 MaxQ for a little less (or a decent margin less if you're prepared to go refurbished) - but you'd be trading off CPU...

Solved! What RAM to buy. What processor can I get? Help needed.

DDR3L soDIMMs. https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/Acer/aspire-es1-511 No, you cannot upgrade the CPU, it's soldered.

    Solved! Long HDMI Run

Yeah, that's why I recommended opting for a cheap solution initially - especially one with an amazing return policy. No sense in spending the big bucks required for amplified cables etc, if it's not needed. At 50Ft, provided you're not looking for >4K 30Hz*, then a cheapish cable should do...

    Solved! Long HDMI Run

I don't believe so, anything up to (and including) 50ft should maintain the same signal/quality.

    Solved! Long HDMI Run

Loose, behind furniture you should be fine with a ~50ft cable like this; https://www.amazon.com/BlueRigger-Wall-High-Speed-Cable/dp/B004GW25WY/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1548795588&sr=8-4&keywords=50ft+hdmi While it's only "Amazon choice", reviews would suggest it can do what you want, and, being...

Solved! Prevent copying of photos by others

No can do. Once you post them to a public site/forum etc, they're no longer your content. It's in most T&C for sites that you're giving up ownership, essentially. Watermarking would help - not as a true countermeasure, but might be a deterrent.

Want to switch to iGPU after main GPU got fried

The 'switching' in that laptop is automated and, as the 5430m is 'baked in', if it's having a hardware issue, you're having an overall hardware issue. I'm not aware of any way to force the 380M under the circumstances you're describing, and suspect you're going to have to replace that laptop.

Solved! Cannot access old you tube account

You'll need to contact Youtube, nothing we can do to assist. https://www.youtube.com/t/contact_us Unfortunately, most 'direct' contact with YT is limited to creators of a certain size. For everyone else, the automated "help center" or community forum is about the best you can do.

    Solved! Long HDMI Run

Depends what you're trying to do. A good quality HDMI cable could do 50Ft, lesser quality cables (or a lower-powered source) may need to be amplified. Too little information here, we really need to know the specifics of what you're trying to achieve. What's to be connected? Where's it running...

    Solved! Processor chip replacement

Those Vaio's use PGA chips, so are theoretically replaceable - whether a given cooling solution is good enough for anything stronger though, is unknown. There's not likely to be a compatible i7 for that laptop though. If your NS is from ~2007, the first desktop class i7 didn't launch until...

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834235012 i7-8750H, 1070, 144Hz IPS panel, Seems decent enough. Looks like $1,400 is on the lower end, with refurbs typically all that's available for the spec at the pricepoint. On that basis, considering you were on the lookout for a...
