    I'd try the firmware that was posted earlier today. I installed about 2 hours ago and no problems yet... Fingers crossed.

    How did you manage that? They are insisting that they must send a technician out again. I tried speaking with management and got nowhere.

    They won't offer me anything. Insisted on sending another repairman, but part out of stock for 2-3 weeks. Even then they are no longer even saying a replacement will be sent.

    They are sending a repairman out again. Not sure what the plan is this time. Tools of that didn't work a replacement would be sent. Don't know how long that will take, or what we'd get.

    Haven't heard back yet. Repair guy sent his report back to Sharp yesterday.

    While it now allows the TV to function, every 20 minutes or so the screen goes blurry, screeching noise then it reboots. Waiting to hear back from repair guy.

    Repair guy came out and switched out the board. Seemed like it was working ok, no boot loop issue. However, within 30 minutes the fixed tv was having the same screeching/screen issue. Waiting to hear what they will do next.

    If the panel, destroy tv and either replace or refund. However, first available appointment was over a week out.

    They scheduled a service repair guy to come to the house. Originally was told they would send me new firmware, but when I called back said it requires a technician. Then received email stating that if it is the panel that they will field destroy the television. Any luck from your end?

    I get the screeching, just not ever to a menu screen and lots of rebooting

    I can't get mine to go past the Android screen.

    I just had the same issue... Was told they would send me new software download but still waiting. Anyone else have any luck?
