COLGeek. Many thanks for the quick reply. Nothing has ever been done inside this laptop. I would say it has had "gentle" use, except for our cat who has stood on the keyboard before I could intervene. This episode forced me to use a mouse, as the cursor would not move otherwise...

Hoping to learn why I must now stay within 25 feet or so of the router to maintain wireless internet connection. Never an issue for a number of years, but over the past few weeks I drop the connection unless I stay close to the router. Thx !
